Robwood Plantation is one of the few remaining antebellum structures in Allendale County and is recognized on the National Register of Historic Places as the "Colding-Walker House".  A quick excerpt from the register:  "This house represents the evolution of a typical lowcountry planter's dwelling from a simple one-story, lateral gable house to a stately residence embellished with Victorian detailing. The building retains much of its historic fabric and is a fine example of Folk Victorian style architecture. As you pull into Robwood, you're greeted by ancient large live oaks draped in Spanish moss and old historic cedars, wrapped in front and around this charming historic home.  The home was fully renovated in 2019 and was meticulously and thoughtfully done.  This home features modern amenities for easy living & entertaining, yet still shines its history throughout. The land here is beautiful rolling pasture, with some mature hardwood drain and beautiful live oaks and other trees for plenty of shaded area as well.  There's a nice sized grain and hay storage building on the back side of the property as well, with its own separate entrance.  There's plenty of highway frontage and dual road frontage here as well as large acreage fenced area.  There's water piped and run in multiple locations across the property as well as power.  If additional property or a caretaker house or even a storage warehouse type of area is needed, that's an option that can be considered here as well.  

The property's location is remote but also an easy drive to many other cities, at around an hour to Aiken or Augusta and about 1.5 hours or less to coastal cities like Beaufort, Bluffton, Hilton Head Island and Savannah, GA.
